Nah u go lower stay low like where the 1/5 and 2 guideline is at just to fade the guideline out and then keep going opening in lever and each lever u open more go more higher but never pass the 2 open lever

He started of fading the top guidline first and faded the bottom guidlines last if u watch 360 jeezy haircut tutorials that’s kinda the same method he’s using

To do a low taper make a bald line den 2 guard above the bald line then a 2 or more above the first fade then go downward to blend it then after use no guard to get rid of the lines created den go over it to detail thats a lowtaper nd it should motivate pass the ears
