Quick Overview and Demo of the 48 Dodge Power Wagon Winch

Used the Braden MU-2 winch on my power wagon for the first time the other day when I got stuck in the snow. Thought I would post a brief video showing a close up of the winch with a quick demo. Check out my other power wagon videos!

Beautiful truck! Can you make another video showing what you did inside the truck to engage the winch? What levers, what gear, etc.

Thanks! Simple process to engage. Push left lever forward to wind, back to unwind. middle position is disengaged. Just push the clutch in before moving lever or to stop the winch drive.

I bought a 48 Dodge power wagon back in 2010 my friend wanted it out up his field so I bought it for a thousand she has the stock 6 cylinder PTO winch it's still factory original surprisingly it has survived all these years was very little modifications she'll always be an Alabama truck

Agreed. I was going to ask if Stevie Wonder was the guy who last wound it. No wonder it spools out all kinked.

yea- that cable probably has had a lot of abuse since 1948
