Thanks for the comparison video. I think nobody did a video about pro and cons about those straps so thanks. I have the Peak Design wrist strap for years and never had any problem.

I’ve used Peak Design for over five years on my Canon and never had a problem!!!!! In fact it’s so solid I don’t think I’d ever have a problem unless it was “User Error”!!!! In fact everything that they have is top notch and if I hadn’t already had a really great tripod, I’d have gotten theirs!!!! You can’t go wrong with “Peak Design”!!!!!!

I’ve been rocking the same Peak Design clips / strap for years every time I upgrade, but now that I got a second camera (FX30) I might have to get another set. Great video on the options!

5:10 if you take a closer look, the peak design "handle" doesn't lock anything. It's there just for fidgeting and (a little bit) for convenience in some scenarios. But it doesn't lock anything, you can simply pull it in both directions while holding it by the sides.

If you have an extra loop then you can use one to connect the ends on a neckstrap. Those wriststraps can if you buy the right buckles be used so that the camera can be placed on your shoulder.

Peak Design is si reliable. As you mentioned i also like the low profile. However, since i use a lot of PGYTechs items i just got their clips. We'll see how they hold up.

Sony ZV-E10. I'm at events that have me going from handheld to gimbal in short order. A good quick release is becoming a must. I'm partial to Ulanzi.

I highly recommend the Peak Design system. The straps are made of nylon and feel really nice. I'm a Fuji guy and still using the X-T1 more than the X-H1. I love the Fuji glass.

I started my photography with drones and have slowly migrating into the ground photography game. I have just been using action cameras and my phone until recently a friend was getting rid of his Sony a5100 so I took it off his hands and have been teaching myself how to use it. I have been in the market for a neck strap lol

Hello! I'm using peak design for years, even with heavy stuff like the 70-200 2.8, body is modest tho, canon 80D, and the only issue I found is that the latch gets twirled up the more I use it, so if I do long sessions without removing the strap, I end up needing to remove it anyway, untwirl, and reseat it. Maybe the ulanzi one just rotates eliminating the problem? The one with the button seems to be locked in place and not rotating, but I'm not sure.

Which one would you use for a long wildlife telephoto lens (fuji x-s10 with tamron 150-500)? The thin oem fuji strap digs in too much with all the weight.

seems to me the Peak Designs system is the best of the best of the bunch, surely my new Nikon Z8 would benefit from it. However, all 3 companies make quality products, I use some products from Ulanzi that are top notch however no experience with PGYTECH.

Awesome video! I’ve been looking for something like this, because I mostly use a hand strap, but I wanted a quick disconnect system for a neck strap to work as a third point for a tripod for hand holding video with my Z8 for weddings. Answered all my questions on the peak design.

Cool to see some other good options besides Peak Design. I’ve been interested more in PGYtech gear and maybe this will convince me to buy some. I need a new camera bag.
@garreswe Жыл бұрын
I like the magnetic system. An issue with PD and similar is that if you remove the camera from the strap, for example if you place it on a tripod, you have an open strap that can fall etc. With the Ulanzi system you don't have that problem.

I share one Peak Design strap between my EOS R and R5 and even a 300mm f/2.8. Don’t have enough balls to use it on my 400 f/2.8 though, but its guaranteed to support 90lbs lol.

The main issue I have with these straps is that they all leave a little dingly dangly thing behind. Let's say I want to unrelease the strap so I can mount the camera on a gimbal, that little Peak Design puck, or the stringy thing is going to get caught in the gimbal mechanism. I want a real quick release that actually *fully* releases, and not require some proprietary mount

I thought the same thing until I tried the Peak Design. Wonderful, comfortable and sturdier than anything else I have tried. Used with heavy cameras with very heavy telephoto lenses…solid as a rock. Buy one and if you dislike it, return it. You cannot go wrong.
@SinanTrance11 ай бұрын
Strap tolerance close to 90kg/200lbs. Your 3kg body + lens isn’t going anywhere unless there is a complete failure in the mechanism (unlikely if you hear the anchor click).
