A tip from me, a bit of mental advice rather than production advice Don't compare your work to others'. If you hear others' remix you might start to compare it to yours and possibly it might make you a bit upset because that remix is "better" than yours. The truth is, your remix and the other one are completely different remixes, and there's close to none comparison between them. It's your thing, you're trying your best, and that's what really matters. So don't get upset if your remix is "bad". You should be proud that you've done something you might not have done before!

Another good tip: Make sure any music you add is the same tempo as any vocals you use. Off-beat vocals are a real turn-off in a remix.

I always thought that you just made a bit of a song when you made these remix’s and just added it to the original voice but now when I see what you are dealing with I am absolutely speechless, I have went back on your remix’s and just had my jaw dropped after I see what you have done with such a complex way of making it, I really need to say, awesome job on making these remix’s, no one will ever be better than you, hall of fame here we come :). I tried for hours upon hours trying to figure out how you guys do it but couldn’t figure out anything, I was perplexed!! I really love your work!

I had no prior knowledge of music/music creation and decided to compete since all my friends were competing and made a Helium Remix, it did really well, and a lot of people hated so I made another with more pitch changes, beat changes, and other things too! That video did really well too, So I made another, I've learned so much about music and music creation during this competition, I've started making my own song, and hope to release it soon! I suggest you Use FL studio mobile (for android and I am not pretty sure about IOS) That's what I used for the first competition and I get better at it

Heya Ely! It might be worth reaching out to Jono to do a special stream. E.g. One stream he makes a few example remixes in LMMS, while teaching people how to use it. Then you could promote on Reddit, upload to KZbin etc. It could help encourage people to take part, help those that are stuck, and give him a little bit of spotlight :)

I have Black magic design's Davinci Resolve, and garage band isn't available for windows, so I'm wondering your opinion on davinci resolve, and any other ideas for another program that I can use note: I forgot that I had audacity at the time of originally posting this comment, so I'll probably still be using that; a different option, maybe with a better ui, would still be handy. I also just have to say thank you for doing this, because this, I feel like I could do this, and I have some great ideas, so thanks elibeatmaker!

For audio and sound, check the description of the previous video as there's a load of free software for pc and mobile. Ely has recommended DaVinci Resolve as a free editting software on the past, but remember, video quality isn't judged!
