Well @Alex Supermoto the YN622c needs a receiver to work, the YN622C-TX will talk to the YN622C and then it wil send information to the Flash unit. Its a very reliable system. Im always surprised on how cheap it is.

Hi, I just got the YN622C-TX and the YN568EX-II - can the two be made to work together (have 6D or 40D, mainly need HSS)? I've been trying but with no luck, the "remote wireless flash" info in the manual hasn't helped... or do I need to purchase the YN622C as well? Thanks

Hello! I have a set of this flash radio, 2 Yn 622C and a TX! I use with two Canon 580 EX II flash. However with one of the flashes I can not make any of the settings (mode, power, zoom) remotely, although I can make this flash shoot. The other flash works normally and another YN600 EX RT flash also operates normally. Can you tell me what happens? Thank you!

Can the YN622C-TX fully control the YN560-III if the flash is attached to the YN622C? I've got it firing but can't figure out how to adjust zoom and power output using the YN622C-TX. Thanks.

No, its my understanding that the yn622tx cannot control the yn560-iiI. It can only fire it in "dumb" mode. To control the YN560-III yongnuo has the Yongnuo YN560 wich is the unit that can control the YN560III. The good thing about the YN560III is that it does not need a reciever, just the flash and and the transmitter unit. Hope this helps. Let me know.

Leonel Cortes Thank you Leonel. I was suspecting that but was hoping I was wrong. I bought the YN622C-TX because I have a Canon 430EXII flash and the TX easily controls the canon flash. Isn't it funny that it controls another brand flash but doesn't control their own? I've just ordered a YN560. Thanks again for your reply.

You say it's a controller / Transmitter, you don't say what its prime function is? How do you use it etc? Perhaps another video related to use, with your568ex?

+Dave Pawson Its primary function is to control the other flashes with the YN-622C trigger/transceivers. Instead of going to each flash or diving into your camera menu every time you need to change settings, you can change them from the YN622C-TX controller.

What it does is… it helps save battery while using HSS.
