Quick test cut in 6061T6 aluminum on the new DIY CNC.

Getting closer to finishing the CNC. So I ran some test cuts. So far it looks promising.
Cut parameters in the video:
24k RPM, 2500 mm/min, 4 mm depth of cut, full 6 mm slot
6 mm, single flute upcut DLC endmill

Wow! The marks on the material (or in this case the LACK of marks) tell us that your CNC is very rigid and absorbs properly the vibrations generated by the tool. Well done!
