That little stinker Tim Holtz knows some slick marketing techniques! For a minute, I was almost convinced I needed one tool per color---but gotta go with your idea and have a tool per color family. I did buy some extra domed toppers just in case I get a little crazy. Great idea on the die cutting! I need those uniform circles.

Cathy another tip is to laminate a piece of card stock to put under your holder so you can wipe it clean of excess ink if you want to go a step further you can add labels on the laminated piece to put the tools back in the correct slot I would also suggest you indicate what tools have oxide and which are not. I just organized my blending tools and couldn’t tell them apart on the end of the tools I didn’t want to contaminate one type of ink with the other so I wound up getting rid of the sponges and starting with new ones as I added labels to the top of my tools. Thanks for the tips and sharing your creative talents. Take care.

I have the same set up for my oxides, I put some glossy accents on the top of the dot( I used my small circle punch) I also used a sharpie to write the color on the tool - I have one for every color.

This is really exciting to see. I so wish at least one of the the people I totally fan girl over, Cathy, Kristina, Jennifer would show us how to store just the round sponges. I would love to have tools for each, but my budget is as disabled as I am. 💞

I kept my old foams, the flat ones, tucked underneath each Distress Ink cube, the small ones! But these new foams won't quite squeeze in! I have seen folks use coin pocket pages, too! To pop a foam into for each color and then label the pockets!
@Cards4Cancer3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Cathy, that sounds reasonable
@sandras.35603 жыл бұрын
Id make doublesided stickersheet under the paper. Mask it and get a big lot onto one sheet. Anyway, I use two woodenhandles round and two rectangeled. The foam is stored right under the inkpad with the right color. I see no need for a huge pile of wooden handles. Sometimes less is more 🤓

• Grid Storage System | Grid Drawer Organizer | Stamp-n-Storage from ldli.co/e/gm11qy. I forgot to make it so there is the link. The cupboard was custom-made for me. I talk about it in my craft room tour video that is linked in a card above in the video!
@margueritepeaden34453 жыл бұрын
You could glue cardboard to the bottom of your organizer so if you want to move it, it’s moveable. Neat tip. Think I’d actually prefer your way to the printed one because things don’t always print the correct color.

Two more thing... 1. Could you use adhesive paper and punch out instead of tape, or is it not sticky enough? 2. Is there a link for the storage organizer without a bottom? That has been my biggest battle is finding the perfect solution to storing my mini blending foam handles.

Cathy, what’s the difference between oxides and distressed oxides. When do I use which?
@czdesign3 жыл бұрын
Distress oxide's are more of a pigment ink. They have a creamier consistency and formula. Regular distress inks are water-based inks!
