A small drop of oil on the geardrive and shaft bearings are also very helpfull.

On a side note. These R/C planes are so much fun to fly. I want to fly them every day.

I did notice that sometimes after putting the prop back, it would sound different and vibrate more. This video confirms that

The process of loosening off the prop attachment (whether held by clips or nut) and rotating it a bit to get the best balance is standard practice on any plane. These injection moulded bits are hardly likely to be an exact fit, but the crucial thing in sticking them together is to ensure that you have the flat section on the rim of the bit mounted on the prop itself placed in the gap between the 3 clip tangs on the bit mounted on the gearbox shaft. Otherwise it is much more likely to fly off when you rev up the motor. 😉😊

Nicely done! I sorta dropped out of RC about 12 years ago, but I may get back in after watching this. Thanks!

Fun little plane for the space I fly in! Definitely not too friendly for stress free flying if you're not too comfortable with flying a warbird

Have you had any problems with having to trim the airplane when you fly... what i mean is flying one time and it's fine but the next time you have to trim it the airplane out to make it fly right... most of the time it's the elevator for me
@MatthewDoesStuffRC3 ай бұрын
@@ghoward6797 yes I made two videos about flying in manual mode and main issue is the stock transmitter doesn't save trim options the second you unplug your planes battery so you have two options. One is to mechanically set the plane guide rods because the plane actually resets to factory basically trim everytime. Or two switch over to an open tx remote that can hold 100 of these models or any other model for only 50$ like how I did. I believe my earlier video where I set up my f4u will be best as I go over mechanically settings up your trim
