On my M16 the cap is a issue. I have tried to put it on loose. seems to be best that way. If you tighten it your screwed , get out the pliers probably break the cap. Now my question is anyone tried silicone grease? Will it degrade the plastic? make it brittle? the O rings are they silicone? Thanks for sharing. P.S. I saw the newer verision of the Nokta pointer. I can see they are close with that but I like my M16. Yea I know the Nokta has ferris check but I really don't want that in a pinpointer I want all targets in the hole while I have it exposed clean it up so to speak lol.

I put silicone grease on mine. Been using it for 2 years with no trouble.

I actually lost one of the silicone rings, and can't figure out how to get a new one,my dealer said buy another cap, so I did and surprise no o ring But I swear its gotten easier to open without the o ring, its still hard, but I can manage it eventually every time without tools Though I assume without the o ring it is not water proof anymore

Tried a bit of silicone grease on the threads and gasket area. Meh. little difference. Don't tighten the cap too much.

Just something to note: if you have the light turned off to extend the battery life there is no way to determine how much battery is left unless you turn the light back on in the advanced mode. I also noticed my Mi-4 seems more sensitive than my Mi-6. Has anyone else experienced this?

Good point on the light. I've always felt the MI6 was just a tad better and you can make it more sensitive if you use the remote and pair it to the D2. You have additional controls via the remote.

The manual says it will flash even with the flash light off . It definitely does not .

Great video Sir! I’ve watched your videos for a while. I just steeped over to the deus 2 dark side 😂. I used minelab products up until a week ago. I’ll still use em, I just wanted to learn something new. I started thinking…. wait a minute, I remember Scott jumped ship for minelab awhile back lol😂.
