Quick Tip: MPC One Sampling From HardWare Inputs in Controller Mode

Nice video. Was excited to try this but the MPC live/MPC software doesn’t have “audio devices” under preferences. So not option to swap. I’m also using mac

So you don't have any audio devices on that settings tab? Are you using the MPC Live as an audio interface?

@@TT_Beatsthanks for the reply. Was able to get it working with some assistance. Was missing an output from the MPC main. Was expecting the audio out from usb instead.

@@TT_Beats I just found out it is currently not possible to sample in an MPC While in controller mode, That is what I was trying to do

@@BasslevelsI don´t know what you are trying exactly. I can sample in controller mode, but not into the MPC itself, I mean, when in controller mode you can sample, as you can sample with any other audio interface. What you cannot do, or I least I think you cannot, is to sample for example, youtube, because the MPC audio interface does not have loopback sampling capabilities. In the video, I tried to show how you can sample outside gear, a turntable etc...using the mpc physical inputs and the MPC as an audio interface while in controller mode. Cheers

@@TT_Beats I wanted to sample into the MPC while remaining in controller mode. To eliminate the need of the audio interface.

@@BasslevelsBut you don't need an audio interface, the MPC is the audio interface while in controller mode. If you save your prject to the sd card then in standalone you have what you've sampled while in controller mode inside your project.
