This helped sooooo much! If I was able to like multiple times, you can bet you would have hundreds from just me 😅

Good stuff. Very useful. Hopefully you will make several examples with the joint constrains, for example, turbine guide vanes assembly

Rotational joining is part of the new #CAD just make it work to the point that it is solid.

You teach well very clearly. Please let me know your own channel.

Should always ground and root or just constrain to zero, just randomly grounding is not a good option.
@davidhernandez99855 жыл бұрын
Just as long that it is a safe proof plan grounding is not optionable like you mentioned.

Hi. In a practical sense of building this device, what exactly would be in place to create the limits that you have in place so that it doesn't just rotate all the way around? TIA

Great. One question, How can I animate this exact type of joint in the Inventor studio environment? Thanks in advance.
@AutodeskMFG3 жыл бұрын
Hi Irak. In Inventor studio you can animate the value of a parameter. So - you could constrain the component in whichever way makes sense to you, and then animate the value of the parameter which is controlling the joint or constraint. Does that help? can we override the current angle ? It comes back to original value when it created. Is there any way ?

easy to understand, i thought it'd be hard (im new to modelling) but watching this makes me feel like making a rotational joint is not that hard

How do you rotate it after jointing? If Iclick and hold with my mouse nothing happens. Is there a command or something?
@AutodeskMFG4 жыл бұрын
Make sure it a rotational joint, if it's anything else it will be fixed in place...
