Rotational joining is part of the new #CAD just make it work to the point that it is solid.

Should always ground and root or just constrain to zero, just randomly grounding is not a good option.

Just as long that it is a safe proof plan grounding is not optionable like you mentioned.

Hi Irak. In Inventor studio you can animate the value of a parameter. So - you could constrain the component in whichever way makes sense to you, and then animate the value of the parameter which is controlling the joint or constraint. Does that help? How do you rotate it after jointing? If Iclick and hold with my mouse nothing happens. Is there a command or something?

Make sure it a rotational joint, if it's anything else it will be fixed in place...
