Thanks so much for making the effort to not point the gun at the camera. I see LOTS of gun videos where the host swings the gun around willy-nilly and even points it at the camera. Even if there is no one manning (womanning?) the camera, it sends a really bad message by letting the unwashed see a gun waved around so carelessly. You done good, Brownells!

Lemme see if I understand this...your favorite upgrade for a regular ol' M&P is to buy a new top half. Basically replacing half the gun. Then when you are tired of the "fire," you buy a new barrel and negate the slide cuts completely.

He wouldn’t have to buy a new barrel he still has the original barrel. In low light situations you might not want all that flash to blind you, so yes it would be convenient to still have the original barrel to swap out in like 2min max

I think the point is to just illustrate the versatility of the gun. Seeing as pre COVID you could buy a law enforcement trade in for around $325 the video makes a ton of sense. I enjoyed suppressor height sights with a standard length unthreaded barrel... lol

Be careful, because the attorneys at S&W may go after Brownells, again. I could not believe how stupid S&W was when they did that horrible attack on Brownells. Brownells is a great company, and S&W struggles to tie their own shoes in the morning. My hope is that S&W would stop being so dumb, but that would require firing everyone in top management. Without Brownells and Apex, S&W could not be competitive in the firearms industry. Brownells is awesome. Keep up the good work, and never let the idiot attorneys at S&W ever stop you from doing the right thing. Dream on.

WHAT ABOUT THE WEIGHT OF THE GUN AND RECOIL AFTER THIS UPGRADE? i've heard the original side makes the gun heavier compared to the glock that makes this mp a better gun due to its less recoil after this mod what is the recoil like and whats the weight of the gun and how does the recoil compare with the glock after the upgrade? does it close the recoil gap with the glock?

Because the threaded barrel is another item that can be sold for a pretty penny. But worth it if you plan to get a suppressor.

You can only reduce calibers unless you change slides.

About the only way is to sand them out working with a fine grit paper. Be careful not to take too much off. A small scratch is preferable to a ruined/useless frame.
