Eyyyyy, have fun on your Journey's cruise! I think the only thing they've done away with since the good ol' days is the midnight buffet with all the ice carvings and whatnot. They shut that down shortly before COVID to cut costs, and it has never come back. ~Jay

I went on a Journeys cruise last June on Sunrise and there was a couple that had outfits for every themed night. My husband and I couldn't figure out how they knew of all the themes ahead of time. ..... now I get it those where regular themes for Journeys! Thanks for explaining it all

Sounds like fun - especially since I actually started cruising in the 1980’s - with several cruises on Carnival (I even remember finding out about Carnival College - a mock up of the MDR on the deck with the crew quarters - and all new crew members learned everything about the galley & being servers & busboys in the MDR)!

Additionally, they said they do different itnaries and different ports. When we went Tortola was a different port than normal. I loved it. I was able to get off there and get back on in St Thomas.

I did a journey cruise on the Carnival Sunrise. It was fun, but if I ever do another journey cruise it’ll need to be a bigger ship (like Carnival Dream, Carnival Magic, Carnival Breeze, Carnival Vista, Carnival Horizon, or Carnival Panorama). I don’t think I could handle another journey cruise on a small ship like the Carnival Sunrise lol.

Have you guys given information on repositioning cruises?

Not specifically. You can usually find them under the journeys cruises section because they tend to be longer and cheaper than a standard cruise. Occasionally, there will be a short repositioning though.

Loved the video. I went back and watched a cover video of Parodeejay (sorry off subject). Dee sang Crazy by Patsy Kline and Jay played the Ukulele for the cover. It was great. Any followers go check it out. They are talented and Dee is more than just Turtle Videos lol. I have also seen Dee sing Black Velvet on a cruise. I was very impressed! I only saw part.

With the sad situation happening in the Diamon Princess right now. I wouldn't dare to go on a cruise. People are getting sick everywhere but cruises are like a container for diseases.

I guess cruise ships are in the same category as airplanes, shopping malls, grocery stores, restaurants, schools, churches... any place where people congregate. Time to lock yourself in your home!! :P
