Quick tips for Balance Druids in SoD

Horde can go behind Undercity and die in Alterac to Syndicate mobs, it will spawn you on Tarren Mill spirit healer.

I just got starsurge 2 day ago at level 2 as horde. It's a long run to the zeppelin. Silverpine had about 4 deaths due to ally npc casters just before Hillsbrad. Once I got into hillsbrad my first death put me at tarren mill, so I spirit rez'd there. From town I went a little east and followed the river down to the road. Died about 3-4 times here. Surprisingly, I made it through arathi highlands with no npc deaths and I jumped off the bridge at the Thandol Span. Then I died probably about 10 times to the raptors.

BFD Mana oil makes up for the missing hit if you have tailoring over Leather working. AT 40ish Arcane SP my Starsurge crits can hit 360-380ish top end. Opening with Starsurge, Sunfire, Moonfire then Starsurge is pretty op for 6 seconds of kiting damage and can take 1/2 to 2/3 of a health bar if you can crit on most of them.

So I just hit 25 so I haven't been to raid, and I've been stacking +Arcane Spell Damage for funny Starsurge nukes. While it's kind of funny to cheese people with it, what do you think is the best itemization for PvP? Or is it just as simple as "pretty much anything for you from the raid" lol

I’ve tried to have as much leather gear as I can, Int/Stam are nice, I never really used much +arcane or + nature gear other than my cloak! I haven’t played wsg since the 25% damage nerf yet though!

You think 1 point in imp starfire procs enough to be better then 1 point in Vengeance? Gonna try the imp starfire today haven't tried it so genuinely curious.

For open world stuff and pvp, absolutely. It’s not very often, but when it does, it’s so sick. And the 1 point in vengeance really isn’t adding much damage at all to crits.

If you are getting a lot of resists then getting spell hit is not going to change anything right? I thought that resist was different than hit.

I ran the way I said in the video, as Horde, went to US, ran down to Hillsbred, went down where that Leather helm is farmed to the coast, swam down to Wetlands, then got back on land and ran to the dwarf, I probably died 20-25 times. It takes awhile if you go by yourself, but I've done it
