Thank you, Maria! I am so grateful to see your tutorial as well as reminders of different ways to use this product. I didn't know if I should add water, glycerin, oil - I had no clue how to remoisten the dried clumps. Some have explained that after adding water to the dried paint, mold grew. I think I will boil water for 20 min and let it cool, then add to the little jars. Maybe it will be safer and no bacteria will take over. I love these metallic paints.

This is the second video I've seen showing this product dried out. Because it's water soluble, that tells me that's just paint. It might be less of a hassle to simply buy metallic paints. There is certainly a huge variety available and they come in either liquid paints or dried pigments that you can just mix when you're ready to use them.

I love the crinkled paper technique. I've only ever used plastic for that type of effect but it tends to be a bit smaller 'print' which doesn't always meet what I want. Glycerine is the key to stopping these types of products from drying out. It's a natural antibacterial as well as a lubricant as water alone will simply dry out again and make it go mouldy, but it's easy enough to rehydrate them. TFS 🙂

I like the product but made a mistake? In once using my finger to apply apply it (as we crafters do for gilding pastes and waxes) and now the surface grows mould blobs all the time. I have rinsed it with weak bleach etc but the mould still returns!....so always use a spatula or brush to get some out of the jar.
