Watched lots of videos and this is the best. Finally understood what the red push-aside shroud is used for. And also the lower-the-brush tip is a lifesaver. 😃😃😃

I was trying to figure out if I wanted to buy the Herzo 7 inch shroud for a Milwaukee 7/9" grinder and after watching your video I will am going to purchase it. Thank you for your review and your helpful demonstration. Oh, and I have had my eye on that 2 gal cordless vacuum for some time, it does look like its sweet! Maybe that will be my next tool purchase...I'm gonna need a bigger garage.

Thanks a heap, Ray. These are some great tips. I'm using some different brands than you and an old corded grinder. Your tips are just as applicable though. Good job on the photography, too.

Awesome video Ray love you Music too man I purchased the same shroud but my grinding wheel was a little bit shorter than normal so you have to push real hard to get a touched the concrete just wanting if you had that issue I was using a 4 inch grinding wheel maybe if I go up 25 inch grinding wheel maybe that will change The depth of the grinding wheel to make it more level with the bristles just want to have the same issue and if you have any advice thanks again for the video keep them coming

On all the shrouds I have bought I run into the wheel being too recessed into the shroud to reach the surface. So the shroud sticks down too far in other words. On my 7" I was able to put enough spacers on the spindle/break the springs on the shroud to get it to work but on the 5" one I couldn't get it to work so I took it back and bought a whole separate Dewalt grinder that came with a shroud - it was ridiculous. The 7" grinder worked with the regular cupped wheels but recently I ordered a wheel that is flat (which I didn't even know existed before it came) and it won't work in my shroud Has anyone else run into this? They were Dustless brand shrouds.

Yes. If you get another washer (like the one that secures the disk onto the grinder,)put it on top of the disk , using it to mount the disk further down the threaded shaft. If that washer is too big, improvise and. Find one that isn't .

For safety remove the battery first when you doing that.
