yes would like to see caster set up I have MM camber caster plates and steeda bump steer kit had an alignment and now my tires rub at full lock when turning didn't rub before installing plates and bump steer kit I have a 90 lx with 255/35/18 tires will caster help with that or will it mess with the steering to much it's also been lowered not sure how much I bought it already lowered it also has 5 lug conversion there is a picture of if you click on my profile pic.

Many things could play a role in the rub. I'm going to guess camber over caster. But it's possible.

I have a 91 gt. I lowered the car and it pulled when im on asphalt. It also pulled the same way when not lowered. When I drive on rutted up asphalt the car pulls back and forth fighting me. Tires inside shoulder worn bad. Took in for an alignment said it was good. My camber is way negative. Did they just not want to deal with it

How do you adjust it with the factory plates? I've got crazy camber right now where the top of my tires are pulled in after swapping my kmember to AJE. Do I just loosen the top nuts and shift the plate?

How many dech mustangs were built.and how can you tell ?I just saw a gold vert.but is it a numbered car or just has the body kit added? Is there a way to tell?
@TheInfamousProject2 жыл бұрын
I know the vert you're talking about - at a dealer? Unfortunately very few DECH cars were numbered. Especially in the early days. Many were purchased then brought to DECH afterwards to be outfitted with selected "Packages" Even fewer were sold through the Ford Dealer (only one in Toronto and one in Vancouver). That is what makes the 005 so rare. It does have an engraved badge which reads "DECH 005". Then later in the 90's bootleggers started replicating the kits and you will see hundreds if not thousands of Foxbodies with the "kit" but that doesn't mean a thing. The only way to know if you have a true DECH is if you have receipts for the work with the car with the installed parts and/or a Used Vehicle Package that shows DECH as the owner before the Ford Dealer.

As far as caster ..and camber. Caster with cause a pull if not the same both wheels . Camber will not .. and most all cars have negitive camber ...
@DDescalchuk572 жыл бұрын
Incorrect camber will definitely cause a pull lol.. you adjust both caster and camber to counteract the crown in the road. Camber adjustments are for better tire wear and stability. The only adjustment that doesn’t cause pull is toe. Toe adjustment is for tire wear only and it’s also the most important adjustment. To positive of castor will cause a vibration at higher speeds. As close to zero for all adjustments is best but add half a degree to the left to counteract the crown in the road
@jaymartin54342 жыл бұрын
I beg to differ .
@jaymartin54342 жыл бұрын
But yes I do agree on some of the things you said
@DDescalchuk572 жыл бұрын
@@jaymartin5434 we can agree to disagree. Caster pulls to the most negative side camber pulls to the most positive side
