Can't wait for summer to get some of mine to pitcher again. Thanks for sharing your setup/plants and appreciate you showing the plants that also stopped pitchering.

Looking awesome Remy! I have trouble getting my vines to pitcher, yours look great.
@WindowsillNepenthes9 ай бұрын
Not that much 😔, most of the vines don't pitcher during winter and I hope they will be better in summer. It's less humidity up there

Amazinf video, your plants are doing great :) its torture whenever you see a pircher that looks like its gonna open any day yet it drags on and on 🤣 Hope youre doing well :)

That's amazing! I thought you had to cool the roots of heliamphora and give them a crazy amount of humidity for them to thrive, how do you grow your heliamphoras?
@WindowsillNepenthes9 ай бұрын
Well, during winter the cold air helps, and during summer the roots probably don't go above 20ºC at night because of the AC. It's in perlite/peat like 80/20.

Thanks! I might try and get some from brads greenhouse then!

Glad to see a "quick" video😊. Nice to see the development! What are your conditions in Winter? Min. Max temperature and humidity? Mine are (appr.) 15 -21 and 60%.
@WindowsillNepenthes9 ай бұрын
My temps is 20-25ºC (68-77ºF) during the day and down to 15ºC (59ºF) at night. With 65%/55% humidity Day/Night

@@WindowsillNepenthes .. So we almost have the same parameters in winter. I've to experience summer in this windowsill, so don't know how that will turn out. But now I know this... I want to ... buy ;-) (Unfortunately it is North facing, so I have to use extra lights. At the moment I have 40 w shoplight led's (2*20w) covering the entire windowsill. I had some leave and pitcher "growth and jumps".

What do you use to over feed diying pitchers, I have fish food "tetra color" it is ok?
@WindowsillNepenthes9 ай бұрын
I use betta fish pellet but yours are just as good. Only the flakes should be avoided. And for bigger pitchers, Osmocote works fine.

Just a question, how do you get your live sphagnum moss, because i really dont know how people get it.

I bought 7 years ago a 3-inch square to another grower, but some shops sell some if you ask them. I just sold 3 full trays of it so 24 portion. ;)
