A couple of thoughts on speed I would like to know. Changing your stance with the paddle side foot further forward allows for more body rotation and large muscle use, have you done an analysis of this? Also the efficiency of traveling in a straight line is a big part of how far your board needs to move in a race. What difference does the correction of direction make in the stroke? What difference does the bent shaft make? In your analysis I missed what speed each paddler was traveling with the difference in their strokes. Who wins the race? Keep up the good work.

Apart from your own AC90 paddle, you didn't tell us what the rest of the guys were using for this paddle analysis. Looks like the rest had the AC100s? Thanks for this vid Doc.

Can you also do a Posture Analysis when paddling video? I still cant find a decent video explaining which muscles are in use during this activity. My main concern is equal muscle work, arms and legs. I dont see Stand up paddlers bending their knees that much, meaning not using their legs, and glutes. Thank you)

Love the analysis using plotted lines showing the paddle's movement through space. How did you do this? Was this in some editing program? I would like to do an analysis for marathon canoeing but this is the only time I have seen this done before. Your help would be appreciated. Thanks for the content!
