I always wondered how ppl who rent houses can live surounded by jungle?! Just imagine, the first thing you see in the morning when you open your eyes is that mess. Kudos to new tenants who call you George, you did an excellent job as always!

A lot of the jobs George does are at home owners houses. Not all renters live like that. I really dislike it when people assume renters are lazy scum, who don't take care of the places they live in. My husband and I are floorsanders and polishers. The majority of the jobs we do are for home owners. A lot of those houses are filthy!!

The property is so opened up now, and looks thirsty! The next rain is going to have the yards sighing in relief. You’ve put them in a better state than just ‘maintenance mode’, adding beauty back to an overgrown jungle. Exposing the protea branch structure was one of my favorite parts, along with fixing the gate👍👍 Excellent vid and I’m sure your client was thrilled with the results. (Good music too😉)

If this were mine I would not have neglected for any amount of time. My Goodness look at the view !!!!!!!! To sit out side and drink your coffee in the morning would be enough to inspire me to keep the bushes time and the lawn cut. I just do not understand some people. You did a great job cleaning all this up.

As an American watching both George and Spencer(yes I know who you meant lol) George outperforms Spencer every week in every phase of lawn care. George and the other two "down unders" we watch put the Yanks to shame.

@@MADDOG1955 Spencer loves edging but that's about it. I tell him every video to fricken get a trailer and collect/haul away all the grass clippings on the yard that he leaves... but he won't. It kinda pisses me off but he sells merch and has sponsors so he doesn't have to be better (in his head). Phils lawn care is a good one in America and he does a really good job and always removes the clippings. Al Bladez does a good job but he's going through some personal stuff right now so there's that. Top Notch lawn care is a nice guy that helps people out in need and he removes clippings and pays for dumpsters for trash removal and stuff but he is really bad at edging/ string trimming. The Australian mowers seems to be all around awesome and provide the closest attention to detail and remove all debris... Tim the lawnmower man is a full time firefighter and does satisfying lawn cleanups for free and he is a million times better than most of the American mowers lol. There is another Australian youtuber that is a lot like the american mowers but I think it's because he's a little over weight and also does it for a living so he has to be faster.

I'm always amazed at how quickly you get these jobs done, even if they stretch over more than a single day. I fully believe it would take the average resident at least 3x as long, partly because not everyone has the kind of equipment you have, so we struggle with "residential" versions of tools, or don't have them at all. And then there's your level of experience, just knowing how to approach a job and the most efficient way to do things. You are a lifesaver for these lucky people!

It always saddens me that a tenant (who may only be in a property for a short period) can decide to remove beautiful old rose bushes. They only need a good prune and would look wonderful again! In fact, George, I live in the Glenorchy area and would be happy to prune select plants while you do the rest of these great clean ups!!!

I had to gasp a bit when you said you were taking all the old rose bushes down. Down here, in the Deep South of the US, old fashioned roses are highly regarded and seem to have the sweetest fragrance. Do you ever take something out of a yard thinking that it would look better if it stayed? I imagine that yard must have been stunning when all the rose bushes were healthy and blooming. Someone put in a lot of work at one time.What an amazing transformation, George!!! The music,the mountains in the background, and the final look was wonderful! You live in a gorgeous country!!!

Re 12 hours vs. 35 hours - it's at least partly having the proper equipment and knowing how to use it. Most people have a mower and maybe a trimmer, but to clean up all the bushes? you need some kind of chainsaw or something, and even if you HAVE one it doesn't mean you can use it efficiently. Let's just say as long as plants grow, you will always have a job 🙂

What a fantastic view that property has, but I don't like the low fences you have in Tassie, the higher the better for me. That backyard has so much potential, I was thinking about what I would do with it if I lived there. Those poor plants need a good drink and fertiliser which I hope the new tenant does.
