I use dewalt bits with the pilot tip. You don’t have to have anything fancy to get through it though.

Thank you so much for this video! 🤗 I am still in the process of pulling the old wood out of my trailer right now. I was concerned about how thin the metal would be by itself. After watching your video I plan on using 1/2 inch plywood with the lines like yours and sand down the metal and put it back up for strength. Thank you so much!

That’s a great idea if you’re reusing the sheet metal exterior for the walls. It will definitely make the interior look better than plain plywood. I bet it will turn out great! Glad the video helped!

I know right! I figured I would try it after noticing the patterned plywood at Lowes and it hit me that it would be much quicker and easier to handle than the tongue and groove.

Weather wise. Is this material able to withstand rain and different elements? Also what was the width you used with this material ? I know it can vary depending on the gap size for the trailer. Thanks! Love the videos

@@loganclark2763 this material is similar to plywood and designed to be stained or painted. The exterior deck stain that I use seals it and it should be good for years. Hope that helps and thanks for the feedback!

This trailer is a 1997 WW two horse. Hope that helps. There are slight variations in the years but I’ve done trailers from 1978 up to the early 2000’s and they’re all pretty similar.
