For those who don't know, it's best to change your choice because before you pick you only have a 1 in 3 chance of picking the best choice, meaning that you probably didn't pick the best choice. Therefore most (2/3) of the time you'll pick wrong and swap into the best option.

Challenge Idea for you guys! Go get some randomized Berries for you each then it will decide your pokemon to catch based on what are the characteristics of the berry. You only have to catch the first pokemon that matches the berry you get. Only 10 catches then finalize your team after catching . No skip. No legendary. Randomized Abilities and Movesets. I just loved you two! I'm a fan! 😊

It's only worth changing when there's only ONE good option. If there are two or more equally good options, changing the answer is either a bad move or it wont matter overall.

like, the strategy comes from the fact that you're turning your 33.3% chance of getting the best mon, into a 50/50 chance while getting additional information on what the other choice could be (Chilln getting Dracovish guarantees the other Mon is at least 505 BST). You'll never now how many good choices there are exactly

An idea for a challenge, a Soul Link challenge for Sw/Sh. You get an overworld pokemon of your choice in a grass patch, then you encounter a random pokemon in the same patch and those two Pokemon are linked together. You don’t fully evolved your random encounter and you get 6 skips since you will be encounter a lot of pokemon.

Next challenge: Pick from 3 random Pokemon. You can choose to keep the Pokemon you chose or pick a new one but of its fully evolved, the Pokemon devolves into the Pokemon a stage lower. If it's a first stage, it evolves to the next stage.

Sad reality, I'm old enough to have watched Let's Make a Deal when it originally aired. So sad. But, if you want another game show challenge: The Price is Right. Player 1 goes out and catches the first fully evolved random Pokemon they find (no legendary) and player two bids based on the total stat value. Then player 2 bids. Closest one to the value gets it. If both overbid, Pokemon is scrapped and go to the next one. Can do the $1 trick though if you believe your opponent over-bid. Then swap, player 2 catches, player 1 is the first bidder. 2 Skips. This can be used to skip a Pokemon you do not want, OR, you can skip your bid forcing your opponent to take the Pokemon, they either have to take it or use a skip to throw it away.

Challenge suggestion: you both pick 18 favorites for starter line-ups but your opponent picks order they appear in. So you’ll end up with 6 mons you like no matter what but have no control which 3 you’re picking between. This is a challenge you could select items for the Pokémon before hand on the match ups since that’s requested sometimes too or randomize typing for extra weirdness

I feel like there are some variations on this theme that could work. Like you choose one of your opponent's pokémon to reveal. No lying about the other two, just reveal one, and let them choose. The same could work with revealing two pokémon. there's a Swampert and a Tyranitar there, so is the third one Necrozma or Caterpie? Or maybe they blindly pick one you can't reveal, you reveal the other two, and then they can pick. Although that one has less opportunities to game eachother. Maybe blind pick, reveal one, choose?

Episode idea: Take turns spinning two wheels, both have all Pokémon types on them. After spinning both wheels, you have 5 seconds to name a Pokémon in Sword and Shield with those types. Dual-type Pokémon only, if the two wheels show the same types then you re-spin. If players fail to say a correct Pokémon within 5 seconds, the other player gives them a Pokémon of their choice with the correct typing. For example, QuickGG goes first and the wheels are spun and he gets Dragon and Ghost. Within 5 seconds he manages to say Dragapult and that's his first Mon. If he fails to say anything, then Chilln can give him Dreepy

New idea I think: You have 6 random encounters(can have skips if you want) and a wheel with evolve, unevolve and leave. You always spin the wheel for your encounters. Only Pokémon with evolutions. Or you say you have 2 evolve 2 unevolve and 2 leave and you chose before the random encounter.

Could you play Guess Who with your pokemon for a challenge? Maybe like: you each catch an overworld pokemon you want to use (no checking moves and abilities beforehand though), then play a round of Guess Who with those two pokemon and whoever wins gets to keep their pokemon, while the other has to get a random encounter to replace theirs. Repeat six times until both have a full team.

Title Up, down, Stay- you go out and catch the first 6-10, 3 stage evo mons you you see, then after you catch the mons, you tell the other one the final stage name of the mon, and then they pick to stay where it is, go up, or go down, if you go up on a final stage, it becomes a baby, if you go down on a baby it becomes a final evo. Example- Quick catches a charmander, he tells chillen its in the charmander line and then Chillen will pick to say at its stage, go up a stage or go down, if Chillen says go down the charmander becomes a charizard if he say go up, you get a charmeleion, if he stays you get a charmander.
