Basically, I'll be comparing mods and the DE fairly, instead of just bashing the DE like everyone else is doing.

If only I can hug you because I can't understand you. But what I did understand, unfortunately I can't use mods because I'm playing on the PS4 Slim version. VC and SA are somewhat doing fine. VC has error occurrences. (Which I'm use to by experience throughout life). SA more on I hate the controls and I I can't change back to the PlayStation 2 controls because they don't have those controls. GTA III I'm putting in hold because I want to play chronologically and 100% them.

Yeah I have to fix my audio and get better pronunciation, the remaster has some really bad bugs but it doesn't make it unplayable Between playing the original trilogy vanilla or the definitive edition vanilla, I'd say the DE has quite a few of good improvements for newer players, and even if modding was an option, I'm pretty sure the DE will get way better than the original trilogy because UE4 is a really popular engine with lot's of tools

@@RezmiCR See that's what I keep getting confused about.. Is the vanilla engine the same as the definitive engine? Because the website says it's a different engine but reporter KZbin channels says it's the say engine. I'm basically stupid when it comes to all this. I grew up on the PS2 versions of these games and Vice City feels the same except PC exclusive car spawn locations and no screensaver between islands. San Andreas on the other hand I hate because of the controls and the camera seems stiffer than I remember. Oh and I know apparently the San Andreas is the ten years version.

@@punkdallas1646 both use the same code for physics, mission scripts, car spawns and so on But once those calculations are made, the original triology uses Renderware engine to "draw" everything, the Definitive Edition used Unreal Engine 4 for this Most of the bugs exist in both versions because they use the same code for logic, but DE will be easier for graphical modifications and maybe the old fixes could be rewritten for the new game without having to do much, taking advantage of the UE4 mod tools

@@RezmiCR Oh okay thank you.. The unreal engine 4 "draws" everything for the Definitive Edition. Could that mean the unreal engine 4 was the reason why alot of things are spell differently for textures containing words? And you're right because I strangely remember the unreal engine can somehow make games for indie developers so something small like lighting can work great.

@@punkdallas1646 yeah some visual bugs could be due to the UE4, but also errors during upscaling and re-creation of textures
