Phase 1 does seem the most approachable aspect of the encounter given what I have seen of it so far, but I’ll be honest, I would love to start getting into ultimate raiding after watching the races. Maybe not with Future’s Rewritten, but I think it’s still very doable all the same.

UCOB, UWU and to a lesser extend TEA are considered "legacy ultimates". This essentially means they're easier. If you want to dip into ultimate raiding, I recommend you gather up a static and start on those.

@@Priscabc Some people do better with the later/newer more modern Ultimates because developers finally had enough practice creating them rather than the sloppy mess that's Ifrit nails in UwU. I found the, "dance," of DSR easier than Ifrit nails ghetto party wipes.
