Thanks for this video! I passed my PiCat and went to verify and it ended up turning into the ASVAB and I failed by scoring a 24! I got 30 days to retake 🤞🏽

Hey Simba, I thank you for this video, it made me realize to focus on important study habits. I study for like 1-2 hours a day and should reduce it. It’s hard to retain a lot of information. One area I struggle often on the ASVAB is knowing when to use a specific formula to solve the equation. Also, I think my recruiter is waiting for me a long time but I’ve been dodging to retake the ASVAB. I don’t feel fully ready yet.

Yes I would say to reduce the study time and make it a more focused study session where you’re trying to master one specific thing rather than learning a little of everything! after watching this i felt motivated to take the practice asvab online, on the arithmetic i scored a 63 and on the math knowledge a 50% so normally like now im a bit disappointed but im close to 70% so im not gonna shoot myself down!!! just gotta hustle a little harder😵‍💫😤

I take the PiCat in 2 weeks. Got a 42 on my practice test (It was only the General section) but there was no way of seeing what questions I got right or wrong. I'm studying math mainly but also looking over mechanical comprehension. Grammar hero has been such a big help. I'll update this comment to let you know what I get

I went to my recruiters. Took the practice test got a 31. I wasnt happy with my score so I studied a little more I studied for an hour a day and he sent me another practice test and I got a 52%. I went to meps the next week at got a 24% FML

Hey simba I’m currently 27 years old excited to find out I’m not to old for Military.. I’m currently studying for asvab and scored 23 at the recruiting office I know I need a 31 and I’m completely close I hate math but have been studying for 1-2 and can’t seem to hold down the math I made it to algebra always struggled with fractions and is kind of intimidating me knowing I’m going to have to try to learn or grasp the concept of geometry

Hey I’m pleased to inform you that you are not too old at all! I’ll be honest with you and say that if you are intending to join the army, you can actually join with that score of 23 if you wanted. There is a program called 09M that will allow you to join with that score. I’d recommend that route if you indeed struggle a lot with math

I took asvab last month i scored a 19 and failed and then i got a tutor at local library and 4 days of studying since shes really nusy woth her schedule but i only meet her 2 more days and on Thursday i retake it again thank you for info

Today I saw my recruiter and took a practice test again didn’t score good compared to my first time. He told to me to meet him again on the 31st but to be honest I don’t want to go again. August 7th if I decide to go but if I do go this will be my last try I won’t proceed to go any further.

Nah this is true Simba ima start studying how u saying like fr 30 to 45 min every day and ima focus in one part only for that amount of time. Good question I think I understand what you’re asking 🤔 😂. No it’s not percent based. It’s just points based. The core sections that really impact your afqt score are the 2 maths, the 2 English sections and general science

You can usually go to the future soldier program without any test score. Just tell them you’d like to join in & usually it’s no problem
