QUICKRETE HYDRAULIC WATER-STOP CEMENT REPAIR FOR CRACK BIRD BATH

Fixing my old and antique bird bath, using this quickrete cement ,i really like the result and it works no more leak.

I also completed a repair like this. I used tung oil to waterproof the concrete once it set and was completely dry. It's a plant based, food safe oil that won't harm the birds or animals. It's working wonderfully.

I have a large water elephant fountain which has cracked all the way through the bowl. Seems this will work. Better than some other DIY's I seen.

Wonderful job! I have a cement bird bath almost exactly like yours with huge cracks and a hole in it about like yours. My husband wanted me to throw it out but I can't. Birdbaths like this are expensive. I want to try to save it. Now I know how. Thank you so very much! I'd give you a big hug if I could. I just hope we have that type of concrete in my town. You did a great job. That birdbath design is lovely but too steep and deep for many birds. If you have some large rocks to put in, that will help. And you could use that cement to make the birdbath shallower next time. Nice safe gently sloping sides is the ideal. Thanks for the video. I wish I had such a gorgeous birdbath. I might try to use that cement to line a plastic platter for a birdbath.
