Unfortunately Robert, songs with meaning don't get radio airplay anymore. See if you can check out the bands It's a Beautiful Day, the Doors, Hendrix, Jefferson Airplane, so much great music in the 60's. Unfortunately, radio and record companies are constantly dumbing down the music and lyrics of today's songs. Right on this page to the right is Santana, It's A beautiful Day, the Byrds,Yes,and Traffic. Check them all out. They will blow your mind! There are great musicians still out there. They're just not signed up anymore, you get "Boy Bands" Instead. UGH!!!!!!!

My friend. Quicksilver Messenger Service was indeed delivering a message to the masses. The ppl who were turned on, and most of us were, got that message loud and clear. Our waters are polluted, the tress are still being cut down and logged. Our kids and adults are being fed GMO foods and causes cancer and everything else. The air we breath isn't fit to breath. All of us need to do something about this. We. Baby boomers and our Fathers and mothers built and faught and died for this country. No----- we can't let our country go down like this. Vote with your concscince, for the commodities you support and at the voting poll. Starve these criminals our!

For the longest time after hearing the “Just For Love” LP I was reluctant to listen to any other QMS album since I was afraid to be disappointed by anything they did that may not be as good. I ended up with every LP they came out with and a double bootleg as well. I had listened to “Just For Love” so many times I remembered every note! In the days before being able to carry recorded music with you, even before CD or cassette players, I had to “listen” to the music from my memory. I used to pass the time on watch in the army by “playing” it through in my head. Great stuff.
