Neither dude is bad, but the battle as a whole ended up kind of awkward to me. The vibe of a rap battle is supposed to be fun, so if you're going to use a moral indignation angle, you REALLY need to justify the change of atmosphere with your content, and in both cases it just didn't seem well-executed. Probably edging Quicksilver slightly. First time seeing either and I get the impression they both have better showings.

Watched the first round from both. The issue is that they're just standing reciting bars they've written, neither of them are battling each other. We don't believe what they're saying because they don't believe it themselves. The actual bars aren't bad tbf but they've got to be delivered to either clown or destroy. Not just spoken with occasional emphasis. There's real potential here on both sides, but both need to work out who they are in the ring, what their role in the show is.

I like both the guys but they’re both in their awkward phases. Still figuring out what works and what doesn’t, and that means they’re doing naff stuff from time to time as happened here. That said, there are great battlers who’ve grown out of an awkward phase. I’m hopeful they’ll get the hang of it.

I'd give this 3-0 to Quicksilver. The only round that was close was the 3rd. Both have definitely done much better in the past. At times it was an awkward watch with too many lines going nowhere.
