This time at the Quick Speed Shop we're going to see American Graffiti at the Drive-In...in cars that could have been in American Graffiti! I'm firing up the 1940 Mercury hot rod sedan, my friends are bringing their old cars, and we're going to the drive-in! Do cool stuff with your cars. Drive them, use them, don't save them for the next guy!

Went to see American Graffiti in my first hotrod in 1976 with some buddy's. A 1925 model T panel truck. 283 and 4 speed. Still have it today. Nice memories. Enjoyed your video.

So amazing, one of my best movie.... you cant imagine how cool is it to watch your video with your hot rod at the drive-in...from France.... The real american dream :-)/ Hope I would have the chance to see it next year (next road trip to US) because it doesn exist in France (I mean Drive in with movies). Anyway, awesome, thanks for the entertainement

Love those crazy flames. So what stall convertor is in it and what should it be to keep from lungeing?

It's a T-10 4 speed. It's probably a wide ratio with something like 2.6 1st gear. That combined with 2.79 rear gears makes it not very conducive to low rpm cruising. I'm pulling out the 4 speed and swapping in a Powerglide for a couple of reasons, this is one of them.

The car is super. The New York license plate is beautiful. Tell me, what is the license plate on your bike-5:09? what is written there?

It's an old NY trailer plate from the 1980s. Just random numbers, doesn't say anything.
