QuickTip Apr 18th 2024 Merging Duplicated Names and Accounts in QuickBooks Online

I've merged 2 accounts, JEWELRY and Jewelry and Collectibles. Changes both names to Jewelry and Collectibles. Saved (all details exactly the same), it asked me if I wanted to merge, I said yes. Both accounts, named Jewelry and Collectibles, are there, giving different reports (reflecting the transactions from the 2 individually accounts). I've tried multiple times on both accounts to save, merged, and still have 2 accounts, named the same thing! Any advice?
