Did you see Lisa Eldridge’s show about makeup over the centuries and how she used makeup as close to what they would have used in the time period she specified ( one was in France in the 1700s) and she used some of the materials they had to make the makeup and applied it to a model. Such a fascinating program. Also, I agree , as you get older I jus5 want my skin to look like skin on its best day and to define my eyes and lips with a little colour on my cheeks. I use Erborian CC Cream in Clair. It’s fabulous and soooo easy. A French - Korean brand. Loved the video. You look beautiful and modern.

You can order of course online but it’s best if you can match in the store. I hope you find things you like. I also use the Erborian BB cream in Clair. It’s the perfect shade match for me. I’m very pale.

I use a tinted sunscreen, ‘sunforgetable total protection, face shield, 50 broad spectrum SPF sunscreen.’ I find I can use less foundation with this as a base. I really like it. It comes in 1.8 fluid ounces. I also wear lipstick to brighten my face.

So for example I can't wear any blue red lip colors, only orange red or warm nudes, terra cotta, etc. Are you more cool or neutral as opposed to warm undertones?
