As a hardcore Quickybaby fan for several years, the only thing I would recommend for this particular batch of upcoming videos is to play tech tree only, because otherwise, t8 and t10 is going to be VERY predictable with the tank choices. Keep up the awesome content, Quickybaby :)

WG should make the Collector's vehicles to be "crew trainors" such that we can transfer crew to/from them without proficiency penality, but just don't let them make extra credits or XP so they are not premium either. That will definitely increase the frequencies they get played. All these old classics & hidden gems (like the Ke-Ho now QB brought to my attention) which I'd like to play sometimes, but just don't want to build a new crew in them.

You don't need to, just get the middle road crew when you buy the tank, use up all those small crew books that are a complete waster after tier 7 tank crews, then just let it rise naturally. Even low crews can do well at tier 4 easily, they really don't offer that much, mostly the player can compensate for with learned skills from lots of battles.

Lol you want free crew training tanks that are as strong as Firefly, M4A3E2 Jumbo, AMX 30 Proto and a bunch of lower tier tanks? For roughly 5 years from now WG has never gave a free tank with good stats. Its their policy.

@@animalyze7120 When you say "middle road crew" do you mean the new crew we can buy with silver? They are 75% crew, and thus can't even use small crew books yet - cannot until the crew reaches 100%. And when put in a non-premium tank that they are not trained in, even same type of tank, still gonna be another 25% penalty (50% if diff type, e.g. if a TD crew moved to a MT). That's a massive penalty, even for low tier. And grinding that crew to 100% is just the pain of all pains, speaking from experience, LOL. As much as I've been hoping WG would improve their MM for all these years, they probably also have a policy to keep their MM terrible! 😅😁 But to be fair, some of the well-deserved reward tanks are kinda decent, e.g. T-50-2, KV-1SA are some I enjoy playing as new crew trainor. But yeah, definitely not the other low tier "free garage slot" tanks which they give out for their birthdays, LOL.

@@chilllaxton5848 not really for a game like this. it's a relatively hidden premium tank with terrible characteristics, so the 1000 battles played were probably by more experienced players with lost of credits to blow on full gold loadouts with all premium consumables and expensive equipment, giving the illusion that this is a good tank. Most casual players will play this once with a mediocre crew, hate it, and leave it to rust in a dark corner of their garage to be forgotten.

The Ke Ho is still part of the tech tree on the Console. I've been a fan of it, first for the excellent T4 penetration of 87/131, but also the decent speed and rate of fire.

Funny thing about the Valentine AT and its howitzer's shell velocity. The 75 mm howitzer on tanks like the Matilda and Churchill I has an even slower shell velocity at 182 m/s. The ultimate golf gun.

I love howitzer tanks because you can hit accurate shots without line of sight using third person aiming, assuming enemy is stationary.

Hetzer isn't as frightening as it used to be, now that you can be killed easily with gold spam. You also have no view range in a Hetzer. A T-40 or Stug III B can take you out before you see them.

the SU-85B is quite op too with its 130mm pen on ap rounds and 160 alpha, the only downside is its armour, but it is a common weakness in tier 4 TD's

the MAIN downside is the absence of gun depression. the lack of turret, any sort of armor is balanced by mobility and camo, but when you cant move your gun up and down, its fked. i still play it once in a while but the m8a1 is now my t4 TD of choice

My 'go to' for Tier 4 is the premium Valentine II. Preferential MM and only sees tier 4. Very good armour if angled correctly. Due to the poor pen on the standard rounds, I'll only shoot 100% gold. The only opposition is mostly from the Matilda that will out armour and out gun you. Following that it's the T6 Med. B2 and Hetzer. Keep clear of head-on engagements from these you will do very good. I have lost count at how many Ace Tankers I've had in the Val.

There seem to be few new players at tiers 4-6 here on NA, actual new players play the bare minimum in lower and mid tiers and then run like hell to the higher tiers with blueprints and their tier 6 token. Three other player categories make up the queue these days, so much so that at certain times of day, it is quicker to get into tier 4-5-6 than it is tier-7-8-9. 1. "Bots" - are either just below average players or outright trolls and griefers who hide there. 2. "Burnouts" - are decent players, but have fled the higher tiers for any number of reasons (grind, toxicity, power creep). They tend to have one favorite that they fell in love with. 3. "Bullies" - The stat padders and seal clubbers. They play one tank almost exclusively, and sometimes platoon with others game after game. There are whole clans dedicated to clubbing here!

Good ole D.W.2... I love German tanks, but totally hated it back in the old days when it was still on the tech tree. Sold it as soon as I ground past it. Especially since I'm F2P & couldn't afford to fire gold... WoT Blitz's D.W.2 on the other hand, has the long barrel 75mm gun instead with reasonable standard pen, and makes it infinitely more playable for me.

Maybe I am wrong, but I think another advantage of the D.W.2 is its preferential matchmaking. All the tier IV tech-tree (collectors) heavies only meet tier V at worst. (B2 of course only tier IV)

Yeah, that was made because tanks like the KV-2, T-150, ARL 44, old OP 1S aka KV-1S...could literally meet tier 3-4 tanks, which is nonsense. Light tanks can still meet tier 6 at tier 4 iirc so you will see nonsensical encounters between a KV-2 and the AMX 40.

I love the Marder 38t, but I've never thought of it as OP. I would have thought the Hetzer (which I also love) would be the top TD at tier 4.

The hetzer is the obvious choice but it has a skillcap where you rely on armor more than positioning. The marder is a really good enabler for someone who likes to take advantage of it's gun and the crap plays that occur at t4. It's in a somewhat similar position as the jagdpanzer for me. Used to hate and be bad at that tank but I went back and it isn't that bad, I think a lot of people suffered through the marder and never revisited it.

hetzer is good; but it's limited rounds really hurts it. it's gun velocity isn't the best either. the best tank/TD at tier 4 is the SaU40. use the derp gun - with the derp , those hesh rounds hit really hard and it's gun velocity is what makes it especially lethal. no tier4 tank comes close to this one - it's like a mini deathstar at tier 4. edit: i will say the person who uses the SaU has to have SOME clue as to how to play the game - as in being able to use the map and know how to position themselves correctly.

Regarding the Ke-Ho, I believe AEG buddies refer to this monster as the Thanos tank due to how easy it vanishes tanks out of existence using HE rounds and I can understand why. Low tiers are brutal with so many op tanks.

I love the DW2. I have a drawing of it my girlfriend (now wife) made me of it on my office wall. It’s a decent tank in WoT but I just LOVE how it looks. It’s the epitome of German “VK” tanks visually to me (even though it predates the VK designation)

the panzer 4D is also a very strong tier 4. powerfull gun for a tier 4 medium and good power/weight ratio. kinda feels like a mobile TD with fully rotatable turret.

I really enjoyed this Vid QB - I often take refuge in low tiers after a day of getting hammered at Tier IX and X Although it failed to make the criteria - I would like to make honourable mention of the A25 Harry Hopkins - I think it is a gift tank or something. 10 degrees of gun depression, 121 pen on its standard rounds at Tier IV - gun stats aren't too bad and it is very enojoyabel

You did a video about the tier 4 Japanese medium a while back and I left a comment stating the Ke-Ho was amazing, that win rate proves me right. The one tank that is amazing that you don't feature is the Alecto with the rapid fire gun, 50kph, amazing camo and huge d.p.m. The lower win rate is probably because people use the derp guns.

Hey QB for me best t4 is T-28E F-30, yes you are huge and with no armor but if you trade, you can kill everytging even t6. The gunn is on this tier top. I have 62% WN on this beast. Good video, as always :)

Ke ho is actually my favorite tank lmao I play at least 3 games with ke ho per wot session. I don't play as spotter tho, I play as supporting brawler, turning 1v1s into 2v1s and overwhelming enemy with dpm

I dont know how it is on PC but on console the sav/m43 is an absolute beast, especially before the hp update because you were able to one shot most tier 4 tanks, but anyway, 350 alfa, 65 mm ap and 110 mm heat pen. I know it doesn't sound like a lot but it smashes up anything that comes at you. The tier 5 ikv 105 is similar but it's not as juicy with the one taps

I remember 10 y ago when i started playin wot with a friend at 11y. o i had a lot of fun playin the marder 38t and after couple of years when i came back to wot i was devastated that the marder was not in the techtree but than i found out its in the collection and now have it just to relax and have some fun again + with a win rate of 57 (im 49.2 btw slowly tryin to hit 50) and im glad to see that its actually the best tank destroyer at lvl4)

Bought this tank after watching this and see why you are so impressed. Camo is insanely good, 57mm gun takes out all opponents. deadly sniper. Spend most battles remaining unspotted. will get even better when crew improve. DPM over 2000. Vents, optics and camo net used.

For me, the most OP is the Hetzer in "daily mission config" (aka sealclubbing): turbo, GLD, Increased shell resistance and full gold loadout with the derp gun. 8 kills and 2000+ dmg is common in this config. And with some angling it bounces a lot of shots.

yeah if you load full gold in that tank (or in any tank for that matter), then you are dumb af. Hetzer has even higher dmg on its HE rounds and the 53mm of pen are enough to pen quite a variety of tanks, especially if you are top tier. But hey, keep wasting your credits if you think that's fun.

What about the Luchs? It was my favorite, even when it could meet tier 7 tanks. Nothing better than ambushing T29 and loading the whole clip on it's side, the scooting into cover. But I guess it requires the player to be able to think and breathe at the same time, it was not good for the average player. I remember there was some marathon or something that started with the player needing to win 25 battles with tier IV upwards. I took out my Luchs, played 25 battles and won 25 of them.

QB I think you've never played the DW2 in World of Tanks Blitz....very mobile, good armor and it has a special feature and that is it has the long 7.5cm kwk 40/L43 cannon from the Panzer IV D. That part is a true monster! It once had a reload time of 7.5 seconds, but since Update 5.5 it has only had a reload time of 12 seconds. The tank used to be one of the most overpowered tanks in all of Blitz....Seal Clubbing at its finnest !

Yes, Ke-Ho is a crazy tier 4 light. Marder & Camo-Nets... for me not the best choice as you loose it when turning the hull to align your gun on target. CamoNet I use on turreted TD like tier4 M8A1. Matilda LVT is not a good one, it has not much battles, so I guess it is played by specialist to know what they do. DW2 is -as far i know- not meeting anything above tier5.

Yes finally sombody spot the gem called Marder 38t With stealth crew this thing is still a threat against tier 6 and destroyer of all tier 4 if in a flat map. Like matilda is strong, but with it i can just evaporate matilda with in seconds givin enough concealment or distance And good depression and firing arc make it really nice to play The only draw back is in low tier there's not as much flat map as in high tier

Looking at the Ke-Ho stats a month later and the number of battles has exploded. The Win Rate is roughly the same but the WR difference has dropped significantly. It also looks like every Unicum in the game is now playing it.

Really wish WG made the modules free for tiers I-V. Ya, for veterans it's pretty damn cheap, but for new players most of the time it's just better to save for the next tier tank or gold rounds.
