Nice form factor and a wicked 9 LEDs! Something new for flashlight enthusiasts, it really looks far better than most current lights. Good job. Can't wait to get this.

@NitecoreSG In my opinion, EDCs should be pocketable at anytime. This light really fits that well. Love the lock out function, just a push and the hidden C for charging is nice. Do let us in on the release date. Thanks.

Hopefully it can remain bright for more than 30 seconds. I feel like a 3000lm flashlight on turbo should be capable of sustaining 2000 lumens. But, they always down regulate to 1/3 or less their total output. It kills me. The new streetlight HL-X Pro will maintain 1000lumens 50,000ca for the whole duration of use. I’d prefer that form/function over a 30 second turbo. Feature.
@mikeenslin30098 ай бұрын
Look, the drivers and leds in nitecores lights are excellent. They give you as much as sustained brightness as the technology allows. And so do all the other premium brands as Olight, Weltool, acebeam etc. You are literally asking the manufacturers here to artificially limit the performance of the light just so you can have peace of mind. If you need a long runtime or high sustained brightness for your application, almost every light has a "high" mode or a mode below turbo that it can sustain in ambient temperature. The hlx pro you are taking about is a weapon mounted light that is a lot bigger. On a weapon mounted light that makes sense because you don't want to have a mode that suddenly stops down... This isn't a weapon mounted light. Think about it like this: a light that can do 3000 lumens will be more efficient at 1000 lumens than a light that is only capable of 1000.
@Roxlimn8 ай бұрын
I do believe the Mh25 Pro, rated at 3300 lumens as a flashlight, will maintain close to 1000 lumens throughout its High mode runtime for about 7 hours. These are handheld flashlights, of course. They have a specific use case for momentary super-brightness, so that's the banner feature. Lengthy sustained light output for flashlights are in the detailed spec sheet.

I highly doubt they will go through the effort of making that complicated led in neutral white. And tbh, I don't think they have to. That's not what the light is intended for.

@@NitecoreSG What will happen when the battery stops working? Will the flashlight also only serve as decoration?
@NitecoreSG8 ай бұрын
@@YoungByron depends on how well you take care of the light then, like all electronic products, if you abuse them they will break, regardless removable battery or not. If you take care of them, these will last several years, which by then you would have gotten more than enough use for the amount paid. Or if you prefer to have removable batteries to extend the life of the device then I’d recommend the new MH12 PRO, that might be a better fit for you

@@NitecoreSG Lithium batteries work for a certain period of time, or for charging cycles. Whether you take good care of the flashlight or not, the battery has to stop working. So the flashlight has to go in the trash can too?
