I'm really loving your videos. Can you please tell us who makes the roller tool you are using for the waterslide decals?
@QuietLoudCUSTOMS Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. it is "SQZ-1070 Decal Squeegee" by HIQ PARTS. HIQ PARTS is a small Japanese company, so I don't know if it is available overseas though.
I love it...bravo!! What did you use to make the VOLTEX CANARDS? Manufacturer, part number, tools?
@QuietLoudCUSTOMS11 ай бұрын
Thanks! I used OM-402 (0.5mm) plastic plates from a Japanese company called "WAVE", but you can use any manufacturer's one.

Stunning piece, the attention to detail is insane! I have a question tho, is it possible to put a link in the description or something, with most of the tools you use, for those who want to start building some of them too? Thanks in advance! :)
@QuietLoudCUSTOMS2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! Of course it's possible, but the tools I use include a lot of things that are difficult to get outside of Japan (like products from small local companies). So if you're just starting out in scale modeling, I'd recommend getting some more basic tools first. For example, TAMIYA 74035 (nippers), TAMIYA 87003 (plastic glue), TAMIYA 74108 (tweezers), OLFA 9153US AK-1/5B (art knife), etc. The lesson I learned from my experience is that even if you are just starting out, you should only buy good nippers and tweezers.

@@QuietLoudCUSTOMS Brother thank you so much for the info! I would wish to start doing some for me actually, and I wanted to try something from aliexpress. I'll see what I can find in form of tools by what you told me :) I just needed the basic stuff, the rest I believe I can DIY, more or less 🙂

You should’ve done the matching pink and white carpeted material she has in this car! The full custom colored fabric interior thus car has is really fun to do! You should magnet the wheels behind the breaks, make an angled score so you can still stance the wheels on builds,but this way you can clip in different rims and tires! Sometimes i’ll put stock wheels just on the front,then change it up! I use those magnets on removable hard top builds too! Cut and make almost everything a convertible or t top! Got the idea from a late 90’s Transformer! Please find me on IG,i’d love to talk to you about models,parts, tiny wires,the perfect braided hose lines i’ve found in everyday objects ,the plethora of things i’ve saved over the years, and custom painting!
