You're so chill compared to me. My painting sessions include about 40% dropping the brush, and knocking pots over. Then accidentally painting an area I didn't want to and then the inevitable panicking to get a bit of tissue or something to wipe as much off, realising I hadn't brought such materials with me and having to run into the next room to get some.

that was bretty good. as an early ASMR connaisseur(i'd like to think that of myself, at least) the sharp noises hinder the asmr: hitting hard surfaces together - paint bottle against the table, dragging of the wet pallet across the table, putting the model on the table, clicking, grinding and scratching. i guess sharp are produced by a sensitive microphone. movements that evoke asmr are deliberate, unwavering, but a bit slower than yours. as if you could feel that the person who does them is in the zone, relaxed and has only that process on his mind.

Its nice to see behind the scenes at the moment im building a tamiya honda nsr 500 and ive found that brushing tamiya acrylic works just as well as airfix paint if not better , you also have more of it but the only downside is having to wear a mask or ill be inhaling fumes that oddly smells like apples

@normiukkeli3739
@normiukkeli3739 5 жыл бұрын
@@Ghostrider-lm9en tamiya acrylics are primarily for airbrushing but they are good for brushpainting too. For small details dont thin the paint at all and paint one coat. For large areas thin the paint 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner, DO NOT THIN TAMIYA PAINTS WITH WATER use tamiya X20-A thinner or isopropanol alchohol. Paint atleast 2 thin layers and let it dry atleast an hour, preferably overnight before another coat.

When you do American planes with silver metal is that acrylic paint too or would you use enamels then ?
@goosefpv
@goosefpv 5 жыл бұрын
You can use both, the choice between acrylic and enamel is totally up to the modeller, some people use acrylic for interior parts and enamel for exterior and some just use acrylics for everything or vice versa. The main difference between both is the drying time smell and longevity. Enamel takes about 12-24h to be completely dry, they have quite a strong smell which means you should ventilate the room but the paint lasts for way longer and is more resistant to scratches and such. Acrylics however, take seconds to be dry to touch, they do not smell but they are more prone to scratching. Hope this helped.
