Thanks for the review, Chris Crossed! It was nice to see all your different eBikes on the rack. As you clarified, you did not have the rack tightened all the way at the hitch and that is why it was wobbling a bit. When tightened, it is rock solid. Also, after loading up a bike, it is a good idea to go back to the front tire and give the arm another push to tighten it up against the tire. Enjoy your rack; you've got many adventures ahead with all those bikes. :)

@@ChrisCrossed remember, the blue hitch lever must be between 9pm and 3pm so it doesn't drag on the ground :)

Nice rack. Thanks for always sharing tip and tricks for e-bikes. 2nd ride with my 3.0 after taking it to the bike shop with some new parts customer serv from electric sent me. Love the bike but need to group ride to relax and learn ebike stuff. ✌️👍

I have a different brand ramp-ed ebike carrier but I recommend everyone use a high quality ebike rack. We spend a lot of money on our bikes and they are very heavy. Imagine the liability if a bike fell off on the highway.

Why did you choose this over 1UP? I'm having difficulty choosing between the two. The 1UP is edging out Quikr with the newest Superduty.

At the time I thought the Quikr was the new kid on the block. It’s gotten a lot of use in the last 8 months. Very happy with it.

I see a good amount of 1Up racks around town on cars, truck, and SUVs. Seems like they are either riding a lot and/or not as convenient to remove/store if they don't ride regularly. It was the light weight, no tools to add/remove in 30 seconds, use 1 or 2 racks as needed, no tools to adjust for different wheelbases/tire sizes/bike types, raised second rack for clearance from 1st bike, and easy storage in garage/hatch with the fold option for both racks.

Very good vid, but maybe you could reshoot the parts with the rack tightened. Some of the shots don't show the rack in the best light because of the wobbling... otherwise a great video, thanks.

Are you able to open the tailgate on the truck with the hitch installed?
@ChrisCrossed5 ай бұрын
Yes and no, I can move the latches to just open it halfway or I can angle the rack down the other way full open

I have a 1UP rack that is similar. I’d suggest a hitch stabilizer to stop the rocking in the hitch. Great review!

Thanks I forgot to tighten it down during the review so thats why it wobbled. Its rock solid otherwise.

Ilike the rack, but it's too expensive in my opinion. The Quietkat pivot is very similar except it doesn't need a ramp. Price is more reasonable. Check it out. Thanks for the indebted review.

Not sure if QUIKR would like this video. During your demonstration, the rack was swinging back and forth. You should’ve tighten the hitch first.. Just saying..

Yeah they saw it, no worries. I realized i forgot to tighten but did mention it in the vid.

Would still not work on my HHR.. It would slam the ground on any approach. I got like 4 inch ground clearance 😂😂 .. Not sure

When you fold it up "just like that" you fail to mention you need to depress the blue plate in between the "legs" to disengage and allow one to fold up the rack.
@ChrisCrossed5 ай бұрын
I don’t need to depress it it kind of does it on its own

Any good hitch rack costs a few bucks. I used to have a $400 rack that was already rusting and couldn’t hold anything above 70’pounds. The Quikr rack should all last a lot longer than cheaper ones.

Dude you own a pick-up truck ....Why would you spend over a $1000 bucks for nothing ? Or shall I say for you being a lazy dude !

Wow... You say $1000. I bought a good rack for $150 and used the remaining $850 for food.
@ChrisCrossed11 ай бұрын
lol, to each his own. As someone who has lots of e-bikes I find it to be highly useful. It should last long I think.
