@dudedog884 Жыл бұрын
@@kevinsimard oh yeah lol? I could spend the next hour naming off people who surpassed Rice years ago. In my opinion the goat title goes to Torstein Horgmo. In fact I don't even think it's debatable especially when compared to Travis Rice. I honestly think a lot of you people Fanboy out over Travis Rice because you don't know of any other riders.

@dudedog884 Жыл бұрын
Rice isn't even close to goat status lol. No street No pipe No park automatically removed as a contender. Personally I think that status should go to torstein horgmo. That dude is light-years above Rice... Plus he's not a d-bag like rice is.
@TheAnto7A Жыл бұрын
@@dudedog884 your analysis is correct, in my opinion horgmo is a giant, technical above Travis, but Travis from the The art of flight movie bring the snowboard movement to anybody! In communication strength he is the goat... He change the perception of this discipline... My thoughts...

No he's definitely NOT lol. I seriously think you people keep saying that because it's trendy. Plus not to mention the dude doesn't ride Street he doesn't ride pipe and he doesn't ride park, at least not since the early 2000s. 100% does not deserve the title goat 👎

That’s why I love Travis he’s all ride and all skill he could go huck off a floater and land anything he wants but proves how good of a rider he is just from riding what he dose. Back country is where it’s at and if your last second hucking a bs 360 of a hump can throw you way further than expected. Travis reads terrain like it’s a book he understands it and that’s a tru fucken gift

Just dancing on the edge ,the balance between disaster and beauty making it look, effortless, and the effortless airs , and those gaps, maybe not the gigantic jumps and airs built on art of flight, call of this, the art of carving down or floating down some of the most insane terrain at that speed , every turn had purpose, or mattered to line up those lines , the art of terrain , hats off , goat

This was one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen. First off, all of the drone footage makes it seem like a god damn video game. Second off, Travis…good Lord Travis…you absolutely destroyed the mountain. Like have you honestly sat back and thought about how you assaulted that mountain and there could be pending charges? You may be in big trouble mister. The snowboarding speaks for itself. Insane spine riding that seems simple…but is not. Technical tricks magnified in grand filming. 12/10. Would recommend.

Genuinely curious to know how you saw "no danger signs at all"? That cornice he rode off would be a major hazard but it looked like the slope he fell into was way too steep to accumulate a slab. The narrow chute he went down at the start seems like a dangerous trap although I'm assuming they were confident about it not sliding. There was a convex roll he went over towards the end of the video that looked like it started a decent sluff. Looking to learn here obviously, not bash the awesome video!
