This GYIL SIM is SO well done. Although a Welsh boy myself, I've played with some African Gyil payers and they'd tell me about gathering certain spider's webs, in the morning dew, to use as resonators over their gourd holes. Most of the Gyil/Balafon you find in Britian have a clear tone but the authentic Gyil tone has the buzz from the Webs. Another winner Mr B 👍

I never thought I'd see a modeled balafon!...what an amazing achievement...there is a resonance interplay in the real world like bleed on drums that is hard to reproduce...soniccouture couldn't quite capture it in their excellent sample based emulation either...this sounds great....I love your plugin suite...your plugins always seem to have lots of little features designed with musicians in mind and are laid out in concert with that philosophy...a lot of software instruments can seem designed towards some other esoteric goal...I always have recommended your plugins and think they are a great place to start for newcomers...I have recommended them for a non profit kids music class I volunteer with...thanks again for your generosity...people like you truly make the world go round
