The Quileute Tribe once roamed more than 1000 miles across what is now the West Coast of the U.S., hunting and gathering food. Today, their reservation covers just a single square mile. In order to keep their traditions alive, they work with their neighbors. Rayonier and the Quileute nation have a special relationship that has greatly benefited us both. The Quileute use our land to source cedar bark for traditional baskets, and we work together to improve salmon habitat in the streams we share.
