I don't know why but I liked the stories about the city more than the actual gameplay :) Hope to hear more of the stories.

Hey @quill18, in this recording it sounds like there is some clipping somewhere in your mic chain. It’s probably not the mic itself, possibly it's post-compressor as the amount of distortion is fairly consistent. Might be KZbin’s fault?

The Career mode, and the PPL certification flight is not really meant to be your flight training, there are separate parts (which you skipped) for that.

Same, but with all the airports, runways, aircraft etc in the game they don't have much of a choice in some ways. They could've at least voice acted the career stuff though, Microsoft obviously has the money

@@redactedaudioworks9407 Voice is in every language too. So, I like it. Not always well translated lol, but understandable. I prefer having that, than nothing... But of course, for english people, it's easy to cry because they normally always have everything set in their language
@danilooliveira6580Ай бұрын
I think they are off-putting exactly because they are not AI voices, it's simple text to speech, probably licensed from MS itself. that is why there is zero emotion and inflexion. it's one of the cases where I would be fine with AI voices, because using voice actors would be unfeasible, and it would sound A LOT better than TTP.

This game UI looks entirely designed by a modern Web developer and I think I shant be purchasing it for a bit...
@brolohalflemming7042Ай бұрын
I soo agree on UI design. My personal conspiracy theory is it's a way to encourage the sale of more mice after the scroll wheels pack up. I'm also not convinced it's a console feature other than maybe TV vs monitor resolution. It's still clunky to navigate around menus with a controller. It seems a feature more suited to phones or tablets with swipe & stab navigation, but I doubt many people would be playing FS24 on those.

As a streamer you're forced to buy what your viewers are going to be interested in. But as a 39yo it would make more sense to kick myself in the nuts than ever spending money on a game that requires a connection to be able to play it. I've seen every form and almost always they never not end in disaster. Spore, ACII/Settlers7, D3, Simcity 2k13, The Crew, For Honor, Fallout 76, ... It never works good. It never adds. It always breaks games.

simcity 2013 was great, so was fallout 76 the rest i cant speak for
@Rizon1985Ай бұрын
@@pilsplease7561 You couldn't play SimCity 2013 for days after launch because of the always online. After that you kept losing games from disconnects. After a year of patching, the game was still a downgrade in every way but graphics. The only good that came from the game was Cities Skylines profiting from it's corpse. SimCity 2013 killed the franchise, the most dominant city builder series for 20years. There is no argument it's great when that is it's legacy. Same with FA76. Forced online in single player content; so again for days people couldn't play the game. Then add that servers also couldn't handle MP content. Then add the shoddy engine with dozen of ridiculous bugs. Then add an empty world while being an RPG. Then add no anti-griefing measures. Then add aggressive microtransactions. After 2 full years the game started resembling something ok but it could never recover it's status. FA76 can't be argued to be great when it created the meme that no stores could get rid of their stock. In a week prices went down to $5 and they were giving copies away. To day it's the closest rival to the Atari ET meme that I know with strong runner ups Brink and Anthem.

@Rizon1985Ай бұрын
@@pilsplease7561 The outrage of users not being able to play is still on the internet. Shops within weeks heavily discounting the game and giving away copies with anything from consoles to controllers is still on the internet. Bethesda within half a year starting with free weekends and within the year completely switching to a subscription with heavy p2w features to trap the few players left is still on the internet. The critics score of 52/100 and user score of 2.9/10 is still on the internet. And that score has gotten better over time as they tried to fix the game. Google a list of failed game launches and F76 is going to be in their list for so many undeniable reasons. You must be that one person who didn't have the client where if you pushed any button in the launcher, the whole 50GB game data got deleted. You never had disconnects. You never saw floating props, props shooting through the air from broken physics or never fell through the terrain. You never had invisible NPCs attacking you. You never had broken quests. You never saw anyone using duplication bugs to nuke a whole map. You never saw anyone using pvp glitches. You didn't have the game engine where the physics were in sync with your fps speed like it's 1990. And that's only the ones I remember from then. There have to be multitudes of that. Bethesda releases the most broken games, they were putting MP in an engine that couldn't handle it and before launch sources inside the company already said the game was launching at least a year too early. I can't help you with your sunk cost fallacy and denial.
