Well, but you have to actually work the incense to get that bonus and it has terrible yields. Same with every other pantheon you're suggesting.

Well, yes, but they are still terrible in terms of growth/production. But then, best use of them is to plant great poeple on them ( then the tile get yields good enough to work it imo ). But then you won't get resource from this tile, so better have a lot of them.

the structures great people build count as plantations or mines or w/e. So like if you build an academy and the tile has coal later, you don't have to rip up the academy

Wine and incense was by so far the better choice... culture plus faith. It makes the incense tiles totally worth it... play slower quill you will make better choices.

"One with Nature" is good too, he will get religion faster for monasteries.

I wonder how long it will take for Indonesia to declare war. Quill is moving towards them pretty aggressively. They're quite religious, giving lots of tension and expansionist too.

Ahhh why didn't you go for "desert folklore" with your pantheon? You have so much desert tiles including like 8 desert hills which is sure you'll be working, especialy with Petra, so there you have at least 8 faith, double the wonder output, then in religion bonuses you get monasteries which will give you truckloads of money from all these insence. You'd just need to pop a city somewhere in this desert and you'd be set. Such a waste...

Ok, it is obvious that in this case the benefits will come (quite) a bit later, though in the end it would still be much more beneficial. Or there is also other possibility Quill missed out on, which is "godness of festivals" which wold give him 1 culture and 1 faith on each insence. Here the profits would also come further in the future, but would be greater. And if you think about it this plan or the new one might would have work out, because even if he would find his religion as the last one, AI pretty much never takes monasteries, and there would still be something good in the shop for him.

johnytest464 With "One with Nature" he will get a religion faster to take monasteries, but with "Goddess of Festivals" he can and up with an AI close to a lots of wine tiles or without a religion at all.

i would've settled south of the deer. with enough gold you can get to LV AND you get a hill for bonus production and defense AND you get a river for obvious reasons AND you get a mountain for observatory! also why no desert folklore?

Yes, like Andy just pointed out. BUT. it is not set up like a Mod. (EUI)...the Info Addict IS set up like a Mod. You have to drop it in a File Folder in order for it to work. I myself made sure the Left Side Bar for Units was GONE. It was way too busy for me and annoying. The Right Side Bar is enough in my opinion. I can't remember the line but, someone here would know... You young guys are my Salvation....lol My problem is for whatever reason Info Addict will not work on my PC. It locks up the game right at Turn Zero. So I use Global Relations instead. It is Info Addict Lite.
