For those not in the know: The mapping rockets. There are 4 (different levels of zoom) but they don't need to be built in order and a higher rocket unlocks all levels below it. So you could send, just say #2 and #4. This lets you see the map on the screen and when you press M. And the Map information just adds points of interest on your map (resource nodes). Also, yes, it's live. So if you are having meteors they show up falling on the map, which is kinda cool.

At a production rate of 228.25 pK/s, it will take exactly half an hour from 767.45 nK to 2µK. Or as everyone is pointing out, 9 minutes once you send up an Asteroid Attraction Rocket... The Bioplastic Nugget recipe is two Mushrooms, one Silicon and one Water Bottle. Bacteria Samples and Fertiliser does require Algae though. I think there was more ice last time you were in the Iridium/Osmium cave. (The larger Osmium caves always have three lots of ice, one at each entrance that melts at 100nK and once in the middle that melts at 5µK.) Iridium is still used for Explosive Powder in the Biolab. There are some places where the T1 Ore Extractor will say it's going to extract the other basic ores but it always generates all of them, even in the Iridium, Sulphur or Aluminium areas; the reason it shows the other basic ore areas is in case you use the randomised ores option.

Place an ore extractor in aluminum fields and you'll never have to worry about aluminum again. Edit1 Thats the second gold chest we the viewer have seen and he's missed.

Well he found the multiplier on the rockets now, all he needs to figure out now is that the multipliers stack lol .

Well, stack as in 1000+1000 is 2000. It is really important to get the first rocket of each type out, but they very quickly have diminishing returns. 1000% when you have a 0% multiplier is incredibly important. Same same when you go from 1000% to 2000%. But going from 10,000% to 11,000% really isn't that important.

the uranium cave was on the right side, where you dropped the 2 safety boxes. Cross the newly formed lake, go thru that narrow canyon and once you reach the second safety box, turn 90* right ( face south ). And you should consider increasing your O2 lvls atm, not the heat. It's not climbing at all right now.

Right now 80% of his Terraformation Index is from Oxygen, and that ratio isn't going to go down until he launches those rockets.

The multiplier rockets also drop meteors with ores in them, specifically uranium amd iridium for the first two

Quill, please look at that recipe for Super Alloy. Just once. You'd feel a lot better about not running out of them. But definitely those 2 rockets and ore extractors in every specialty area, including the aluminum area you don't realize is the aluminum area. Then, you'll be doing nothing but fetch quests to all of them to empty them all the time.

I think there's a way to cheese it but you shouldn't be able to cross through there... yet.

Actually there's no need to Jetpack cheese. There is a secret path that allows you to cross on foot, it's between 2nd Iridium cave and that tight corridor to 1st Uranium Cave. However, 1st time players should not use it, since with it you can access Mushroom River even in Barren Phase, and that kind of breaks continuity.

As an Older Gentleman, I'm going to recommend throwing away your "computer monitor" and getting one of the newer OLED TVs. The colors are unbelievable, mine gets 120 fps, and the 50" HD screen lets you set it back 4 feet from your face -- making it easier to focus on, while providing a large enough image to let you really drink in the details. The Aluminum and Magnesium will seem very distinct (due to the enhanced color range), words will be crisp and clear, and (since we don't do competitive shooters) hand-eye lag will be unnoticeable. It changed my life!
