Being German I can hardly hear any accent. One can only imagine how torturous it must be for native English singers to practice all those rolling R, Ch and Z sounds. Mr Woody does it with ease. He's fantastic! As Bach himself said: "Where there is devotional music, God with his grace is always present", and it's true! Thanks for this precious video and God bless you!

I like that Mr. Woody shows his passion and you can really feel it (and see it), while at the same time his voice is extremely disciplined. There are some unusual German phrases that could easily be smudged and smeared, but he has real precision and he can fully express them.

I suggest inserting the word "baroque" where appropriate when listing the various period instruments (violin, cello, oboe, flute, etc.). Thanks again for posting.

Most of the listings I see now dispense with "baroque," but I agree that there are cases where it might help people find videos and audio recordings using period instruments. --Erik
