You can use your oil pastel. Apply the colour in a plastic sheet and then take a cotton and then apply that in your crafts

You can also use distress ink or if you want a more readily available choice then you can also use soft pastel or oil pastels. However if you use oil pastels then you can apply the crayon on a plastic sheet and apply it from there. Hope it helps!😇

Also you can use any kind of coloring method but I personally use inks or soft pastel in these projects because they are much more subtle and have softer edges and blend wonderfully.
