Could you make the strips wider to make it bigger. Nice tutioral, explained everything in detail

Thank you for your comment, Melva! Absolutely you could make this with wider strips! Just make sure the outside strips are 1/2 inch wider than the middle three, as some of it is taken up with your 1/4 inch seams. For example, you could do a 3, 2.5 ,2.5, 2.5, 3-inch set, or a 4 ,3.5, 3.5, 3.5, 4-inch set. Good luck with this!
