@@juliarose9038 Hi, and thanks for watching! These stands that my husband made have since been lost, and I'm not sure if there are any plans to make another set. However, if it were to happen, I would definitely make a video about how they're made! Thanks for asking about them! We will see!

Yes, I would love to see how he made these, but I would be more interested in buying this as a kit. There is no way I could do all this cutting and drilling in my apartment and not get myself in trouble. Plus finding the pins and carriage bolts would be a pain. Any chance he would be willing to pre-cut, pre-drill, and sell the components?

Really nice frame. I just bought a frame used and am looking for a solution for keeping my thread and pins efficiently accessible. Everything I’ve come up with so far has been not so easy to use. Does anyone have any good ideas?

Are the plans available to build the stands? Where can I watch the video on how the stands were built?
@mysweetpetals
@mysweetpetals 8 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, there are no plans, either written or in a video. And we don't have the stands anymore, so we can't pass on measurements. Sorry for the inconvenience, but thanks for your interest!

What kind of material do you have stapled to the boards? What size of staples do you use to staple the quilt to the boards?
@mysweetpetals
@mysweetpetals 2 жыл бұрын
I used an old, but in good condition, sheet for the fabric on the boards. Staple size doesn't really matter because you're stapling every six to eight inches from one end to the other. I folded the long strip in half and stapled close to the raw edges so I could pin the quilt pieces to the rest of the strip. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching my videos! Check out some of the others!

Thank you for your response. This is very helpful 🙂. I would really like to see how your husband made the legs. Height, width and length of the boards

A little info, add a magic marker line at the top of your frame stand where the sliding board meets when the pin is in the hole. The next time the hole will be right where you want it when the line is lined up.

No, there isn't a video about the construction of these stands, and although it's been on the to-do list, it doesn't look like it will happen in the foreseeable future.

How much are your quilt stands?
@mysweetpetals
@mysweetpetals 10 ай бұрын
This video about the quilt stands was only meant to show what could be made to hold quilts. My husband designed and built them for me, which I then wanted to share how they looked and worked, with anyone who was looking for quilt stands. I suppose if we both had the energy and means to mass produce them, we'd probably benefit quite nicely! Thanks for watching!
