I've been sewing/quilting for decades, and I've watched a LOT of tutorials, and this one is very good. Love that you quilted the fabric first. Your voice is calming and you didn't overkill us with unnecessary jibber-jabber, you just got down to business. Well Done!! I got your pattern, (super easy) and I'm getting busy today! Thank you, and Happy New Year!

This is a really good tutorial. I did have a couple of things, though. You totaly could have used your J foot and done the overcast and seam at the same time to save sewing around the 2nd time, or what about the flat feld hem to keep everything enclosed and laying flat. I really did enjoy your video. You explained everything very well.

Great tutorial! Thank you so much. It is difficult to find a quilted sleep sack tutorial so I was grateful to find this.

Yes, that should work. Just keep the measurement consistent and it should work great. And I used Winline Textiles 80/20 batting.

I am a quilter, not a garment sewer so I do have a couple of questions... one is, can I draw the line longer than 30" to make this a bit longer, like say 32"? And, if I add two more inches to that measurement, I assume I just add two more inches to my line for the front piece, so instead of 27" as stated in the tutorial, it would be 29", correct? And last, can you tell me what batting you used?

Sorry this response is so late. Yes, you can make that line as long as you would like. And yes, just change the front and back the same amount. I used Winline textiles 80/20 batting.
