Sometimes you just gotta jump in and go for it! You’re not gonna be great in the beginning. No one is. It’ll take practice. You can do it!!!!!

Oh man! I’m missing it too! I’ll be back soon! My boys are coming home for a week this coming weekend so we are preparing for their visit. Plus we’ve had other things keeping us busy. I’ll be back before you know it!!

Thank you. I follow the pattern on the back with the laser light. But yes it’s free hand. I don’t have a computer for it. It’s way too expensive so I probably won’t ever have it lol. I have a lot of quilts now that I can quilt my own. Lol. That’s expensive too. The materials. Lol

I just got a Handi Quilter Avante with a gigantic 10 or 12’ frame. I’m going to set it up 10’, certainly don’t need bigger. That looked great!!! Your machine has a stitch regulator but isn’t computerized- it appeared. How long have you had it and do you love it? TYFS

Ooh! Have fun with your new machine! I love my APQS. Yes it has a stitch regulator which I use all the time. Very rarely do I turn it off. To get the computerized add on, would cost me around $10,000!!!! Whoa! Not happening any time soon. lol I think I purchased my longarm in 2014. I honestly don't remember off the top of my head at the moment. But that seems right. I LOVE IT! lol It took a while to get used to it, and comfortable with it as well. I'm so glad I kept going and trying new designs and such. I love being able to quilt my own quilts and not have to send them off to be done.
