I understand your procrastination because since February of last year I stopped coming to my jewelry making room and every thing I made last year I did it at my kitchen table. I just couldn’t get the motivation to come and put everything back in order. So yesterday and tonight I’ve been putting order in my area and it’s feeling great again. I getting some very good inspiration now, all the confusion in my room was blocking my creativity.

Oh Lorena, I get your procrastination! I just received a customer quilt back yesterday. One of their tshirt blocks bled HORRIBLY! So I had to rip it out and will now need to replace it. But there’s a lot of damage to the sashing I’ll need to repair. Sigh. So sad!! But onward we must go!!

To all you quilters including my most entertaining Lorena, you need to start to set boundaries with your customers, I see so many things that ya'll are doing just to please the customer, HOWEVER we still must set ground rules, and one of them is NO EMBELLISHMENTS, for those of us that quilt for a living we don't make these request for no reason. Lately my biggest complaint is quilters not giving me my required size backing, when you have a wonky quilt back and you short me, you are making my life that more difficult and we don't get paid enough for all the trouble, I'm just keeping it real. IF your quilter is doing some of these thing you need to thank your lucky stars. Thank God that I must be good enough that I have so many customers that I stay very busy as well as running a quilt shop, but I have no problem letting my customers what I expect. Yes I'm known as the Grumpy old fat man quilter, and I'm OKAY with that. They put up with me because I do what I say and frankly I put out a good product. Anyway I do still enjoy your videos.
