Pat - I missed the live show this morning. I want to give you tip on deers in the garden. We have a serious issue with them. The welcome sign to our town is “The Deerest Place in Texas”. Deer hate rosemary and lavender. So, I had containers of rosemary scattered to defend my other containers. The friend who taught me this had beds of flowers. Planting deer resistant plants helps but is not guaranteed. Good luck.

@pat sloan Summer Moon - I made three blocks at a time. I think it helped to do the borders on the smaller blocks as I went along. I cut the fabric for one set of three blocks at one time. This way, I was able to select my color choices as I went along. I feel that doing it this way was more organized and less confusing. This quilt is so detailed, that it is very easy to make an error.

I googled "flowers that deer won't eat." Plenty of sites popped up. You should have no trouble getting a handle on it.

I really wish that when labels are printed they would put a more generous gap between them. Turning the edges to sew them on is always a challenge for me. Or maybe I am not doing it correctly…

look at the size you need to cut. there are many dies that work. Some use 1/8" markings
